I was the first Pak Swissian in North America. Left Pakistan after briefly working as Project Engineer in Progressive Industries, Gulberg, Lahore in December 1968, migrated to Norfolk, Virginia USA. Worked as tool and die maker, machinist and instrument maker during the daytime while went to college and completed bachelor of engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee in 1974. I have been working as an Engineer since 1975 with United States Federal Government. Worked as Supervisory Engineer with Department of Defense of the United States. I am married and have three children, two daughters and a son, all have completed their college degrees. I am settled in Metro Richmond, capital of Virginia & 100 miles south of Washington DC. I will send family picture later since this option does not allow me to attach. We are three from 1st batch and couple from 2nd batch in US and we are in touch with each other.
